 Stop Spending!!!

Growing the size and scope of the Federal Government is a major factor is growing our National Debt. Let's look at just one department, The United States Department of Health and Human Services. When this department was formed, it was estimated they would only need 100 people to run this department. Congress at the time did not want this department formed, as health care is the responsibility of the states and the people. This department has grown faster than most private industries and businesses. They now employ over 65,000 people on the tax payer's dime. Their budget is reaching $911 billion. The top 400 administrators rack up over $100,000 each year in travel expenses. They total $530.1 million just for travel. During the last government shutdown, it was determined that 84.7% of their employees were "Non-Essential" to the operation of the federal government. Firms offering health care has dropped and will continue the fall. Health care cost is expected to rise to $28,530 per household. It is hard for me to believe that there are people that still want to "Tax and Spend" as the answer this Debt crisis.. Make no mistake; both political parties got us in this mess. If we do not stop this tax and spending, we will fall by the way of Greece. Source "CBO" The Department of Health and Human Services.

 Limited Government*Fiscal Responsibility*Free Markets*Protect The Constitution

Members of the Bradford County Tea Party have pledged to reduce the size of government and restore the limited role of the federal branch, promote Free Markets, make sure our government is Fiscally Responsible and fight to protect the Constitution. In this battle the government is trying to raise the debt limit so they can spend more money. The Tea Party Patriots are in this fight to stop this out of control spending. This is like if you have a credit card with a $5,000 limit that you have reached. So, you either stop spending and pay down your debt or call your bank to raise you limit. If you do that, you will spend more. I would say I want to reduce my limit on my card to, let’s say $2,500. I might want to cut my card up and work on paying this card off. The National Debt is the same thing! We are saying to reduce your debt limit and start pay it off. With that said, please join in this fight to stop this out of control spending.

The Health Care Compact passed congress in Texas

Both the House and the Senate has passed the Health Care Compact and is on the way to Governor Perry's desk. The Governor has indicated that he will sign the compact into law, joining Georgia and Oklahoma. There are a total of 37 states actively working to pass the Health Care Compact in their home state. This compact will return the control of your health care to the states and the people. Once passed by the US Congress the compact becomes federal law. States in the compact will not have to be part of ObamaCare.
